Home of Super Chunky Arm Knitted Blankets, Cushions and Home Décor!
After welcoming my daughter in 2020 — and finding a little extra time during the many Covid lockdowns — I discovered a love for chunky knitting. What started as a calming hobby soon grew into a real passion, and before long, Nic’s Creative Knits was born!
Every piece you’ll find here is lovingly hand-knitted by me, using only my hands — no needles, no tools, just pure creativity. Each item is one of a kind, made with care, patience, and a genuine love for the craft. Arm knitting and hand crocheting are my favourite ways to unwind, and I take joy in creating beautiful, cosy things that bring warmth and happiness to others.
All of my creations are made using unspun vegan acrylic or chenille wool. Vegan acrylic is a man-made, cruelty-free fibre that’s wonderfully soft, durable, and perfect for decorative home pieces — a more affordable and practical alternative to merino wool, without compromising on quality or comfort.
Over the past few years, my passion has grown into a full collection of handmade home comforts — from chunky knit blankets, throws, cushions, and hot water bottles to seasonal wreaths and decorative accessories. Whatever the season, there’s always something cosy and creative waiting to be discovered at Nic’s Creative Knits.
